Two reminders about complaining from Abbey-Roads
On priests and laity:
What if St. John Vianney wrote to his Bishop to complain that the people of Ars were resisting his efforts to 'evangelize' them? What if he complained "How many adult Catholics have taken the trouble to have any form of religious education after being confirmed?" What if he stayed in the rectory waiting for adults to come forward for instruction? And on everyone, everywhere:
“Anyone who complains or grumbles is not perfect, nor even a good Christian." - John of the CrossJust a friendly reminder not to grumble too much. Though I do love me some grumble cakes.
