The perfect word for the job
If someone asks you if you've stopped beating your wife, you can do what I do and start crying bitterly about how you have been and will be single forever. Or, alternatively, and more suavely, you can answer "Mu". Japan really is a wonderful place.
According to various Discordians and Douglas Hofstadter the correct answer is usually “mu”, a Japanese word alleged to mean “Your question cannot be answered because it depends on incorrect assumptions”.
