Freshman Say the Darndest Things
One of the questions posed to a freshman physical science class was:"Explain what it means to say that the water molecule is a polar molecule."
One girl wrote, "A water molecule is a polar molecule because polar
molecules are made of ice. The H2O can be frozen in to (sic) polar
molecules. It all depends on the temperature."
