Be aware of symbolism
Today I learned that the name of one of my favorite bands is also the name of a series of nuclear tests. This is just the sort of ambiguity that could lead to a lifetime of unexplained emnity or a swift kick to the private parts if misinterpreted in the wrong company.
Me - "I'm a big fan of Operation Ivy"
Pacific Islander - "Good thing I brought my gun today"
