Today is the 60th Anniversary of the Bombing of Hiroshima
Which is why I am posting the website of the organization dedicated to Sadako Sasaki, the paper crane girl. She would have been 62 today, if it weren't for the bomb. She was diagnosed with Lukemia and died at the age of 12 before making 1,000 paper cranes to cure her cancer.
