The shuttle is on it's way out
Apparently the older design is safer, and the current design never paid off. I guess pretty much anything else will probably cost less than a billion dollars a flight.
I really hope they design something that can go out in the rain. The government seems to have problems with designing massive and expensive equipment that can't deal with humid weather.
